Trailer Adapter for American cars Some customers import pickups from the USA, many of which have their indicators combined with the brake lights. They need to adapt them to tow European type trailers with separate amber flashers. We were asked to design a simple solution. So we made the TF5101 American Car Adapter. The TF5101 Adapter works with a standard Smart Bypass relay (TF2218/7H). It takes in the combined signals in the vehicle's brake light wires and sends out separated brake and flasher signals to the Smart Bypass. It's very simple and quick to fit and makes a complicated rewiring job into a two minute excercise. *For caravans with LED road lights, refer, if possible, to the caravan supplier, for specialist adapters.
